About Us

I’m Christy Laws, a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional and pre-licensed Clinical Social Worker. I began my career in 2019 as a peer counselor in outpatient case management, which sparked my passion for walking alongside people as they rebuild their lives. Since then, I’ve worked with individuals and families facing challenges related to addiction, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. My approach is relational, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practice, with an emphasis on creativity and self-discovery. I believe healing happens through connection and that each person has the strength and wisdom to create meaningful change. Through Creative Counseling, my goal is to offer a space of safety, honesty, and growth—where clients can explore who they are, uncover what matters most, and move toward the life they want to live.
